Why I am having No or Low Signals?
Answer: If you are using the phone with a carrier which is not phone’s original carrier, you may need to do configuration settings. There are different settings with different carriers.

My phone is getting hot?
Answer: Phone required configuration based on Carrier, this is the number one reason. If it is not configure correctly it keeps on searching for network and gets hot. Another reason is many apps running at the same time. There might be some apps that runs in the background. This is important If you have back up your data and apps on an ID and transferred that data to your new phone with that ID sometimes some apps are on older or different OS version and they do not get along very good with the new device and they keep on making the phone hot. Easy solution is to reset the phone and try it with a new ID this should solve the issue of warming too much.

Why my phone keeps on restarting?
Answer: Most of these phones are Old models and have been sitting on the shelves for long time to be called Overstock, or they have been reset to the factory’s primary settings. Once you activate a phone it may ask you to download Updates sometimes many many times, we have experienced it up to 18 times based on the how old the OS was in the original phone. You may experience a long time on some updates downloads and then it will start over again. One advice, if you are downloading the updates it may take lot of the data so turning the wifi on is a good idea. Some phones have known issue of rebooting called bootlegging, e.g LG G4 this is a manufacturing hardware issue, there is no cure for that.

Phone is Unlocked but I still see the other Carrier logo on the screen?
Answer: US carrier based phones are mostly Locked to that carrier’s network, When they are unlocked they accept the SIM for a different carrier and shows signal’s on the top menu bar however they also show the original carrier’s logo when restarted in the beginning.

My phone is not showing 4G or LTE ?
Answer: there could be multiple reason’s for that but it is for sure because of the configuration settings, you may need to update those settings Talk to the carrier or may need to update the PRL, Preferred roaming list your carrier support can help.

My phone battery is dying very quickly?
Answer: Apps, you may have apps that are using your phone behind the scene or at the backend. Network settings are very important if your phone is not properly configured it will keep on searching. Video apps, like Skype, Facetime etc takes lot of power, it’s a known issue. We test phone batteries or purchased new ones, but sometimes they behave differently in different environments. Batteries are sensitive to temperature.

The battery I purchased is dying quickly?
Answer: Overstock batteries has been sitting on the shelves for long time most batteries people buy are for old phones, manufactures normally stops making those after 2 to 3 year the device launch when we sell them from over stock lots they have been sitting for bit, we work with our customer in resolving any issue.
Sometimes battery is not the right battery even though its look the same or may have even the same part number. We have experienced that some time manufactures use different qualities and technologies for different carriers that may affect battery life.
